Our 5th Anniversary

It's our 5th Anniversary!

Thank You, Jesus, for the blessings of Destiny and Purpose. That's what this ministry is about. 

In 2011, I was homeless and struggling. I met Patti at a youth event our church hosted a couple years before, and worked in children's ministry with her, also. She was in the upper grades, I was in preschool, so we only saw each other a few times at all-staff meetings. I'd lost custody of Zayne during this time, but I'd pick him up after school and we would go to a mall, library, etc. to spend time together in the afternoons. One day we were at the Foothills Mall and ran into Patti. She'd heard I'd written a book and wanted to write one, too. She invited me to lunch to talk about how I did it.

I said 'yes' to the invitation, but I was planning to cancel. I was done with people at that point. They couldn't be trusted and I could do bad all by myself. What I did, though, was ask Holy Spirit if I should go. He said, "Yes, go. You can trust her and tell her everything." I went and told her what was going on. She discerned the spirit of fear cloaking me and we prayed and got it removed. That made it about 9-1 for the enemy. This was a turning point in my situation. When the enemy's winning and winning and a breakthrough - no matter how small - comes, you begin to realize things can change and that you can begin to win. 

We went out to lunch or coffee a few more times after that and one time I stood up to get my coffee when my name was called and had a vision of Patti and I speaking at conference. We started with a podcast, testifying about everything we'd learned about The Godhead that was so different than what we'd been churched to believe for a long time. That led to books, conferences, videos, etc. for Supernatural Parenting with Patti and Zari. We did a few other things over the years and at Rosh Hashana 5780 (October 2019) Holy Spirit planted the seed for 1123.

Fast forward 10 years to 2021, I was in transition and asked Jesus what He wanted me to do next. I'd gone up to Heaven and we were sitting together talking. He said, "I want you to stop doing part-time ministry and do it full-time." Later I sat on the floor talking to Patti Cake and she asked what it take for me to do what Jesus requested. Zari's gonna Zari so I said, "I'll do that if God gives me a year's income in full." That was a small request for our Big God so I had the money in hand in less than 30 days and 1123 was fully birthed.

After I gave my requirements (a year's income up front), I went back to Heaven and asked to see the ministry's Destiny Scroll. The first thing listed on the page I was shown was: FAITH. I agreed with that immediately. Next, was FULLY FUNDED. That was important to see because I had told The LORD at some point that I never wanted to be dependent on people for the functioning of ministry. Then: You level up everyone you serve spiritually and financially. Wow. That was a huge motivator.

Do you see why it's so important to know what's in your Psalm 139:16 Book? God literally told me this ministry would be successful before the paperwork was filed and completed. With that guarantee, I knew I could do what He asked. There was another statement written there in the scroll that was interesting. So interesting that I asked for an external confirmation. We'll pick up there next time.
